3Com has come up with a promotion for the version 6.0 upgrade for users operating R4.2, 4.3, and 5.0 software, as their operating system. 6.0 has various new application features, as the group has discussed in the past....................................................................
These include the ability to use SIP in certain circumstances, and a suite upgrade, to those in the call center business.................................................................

In a "Partner News" item from Friday February 23 2007, they have announced the following:.......
"The 3Com NBX IP Telephony platform software release 6.0 automatically adjusts the time on the NBX's in their network in compliance with the hew standards" .........................................................
The issue addresses the fact that all the earlier versions are set for the original Daylight Time dates that are now invalid, starting 2007....................................................................
