In fact, the 3Com NBX system primarily uses a proprietary language derivative of the H.323 platform(up to and including release 5.0)... It requires that the device query it, be recognized, and then be downloaded from the processor. For this reason, "off the shelf" devices would not likely be configured for this handshake, and operational platform.
